Welcome to the Department of Electronics.
As a new academic year begins, I want to extend a warm welcome to all incoming students joining us for the first time and to all returning students continuing their journey. I also thank our staff and faculty for their hard work in ensuring a smooth start to the term.
This year brings exciting developments for our department. We are pleased to welcome our new industrial partner, Fidus Systems, whose collaboration will strengthen the bridge between our students, researchers, and industry. More partnerships are already in motion and will be announced in the months ahead.
We are also opening our new FPGA and microcontroller drop-in center, designed to give students hands-on access to tools that build practical skills alongside theory. This initiative is part of a broader effort to expand our experiential learning environment and provide spaces where innovation and teamwork thrive.
Looking forward, our department has several new initiatives underway that will be announced in the coming months. These efforts are designed to advance our research, grow our community, and create more opportunities for students to engage with cutting-edge technology and industry.
