Project Description

Project Overview:

This capstone project aims to explore the capabilities of Light Fidelity (LiFi) technology for transmitting video data over air. LiFi uses visible light communication (VLC) to transmit data, offering high-speed wireless communication that can be integrated into existing lighting infrastructure. The project will involve designing, implementing, and testing a LiFi system capable of transmitting video data reliably and efficiently.

Skill Sets Required:

• Understanding of optical communication principles
• Experience with electronics and circuit design
• Knowledge of signal processing and modulation techniques
• Skills in software development and programming (e.g., Python, MATLAB)
• Familiarity with video encoding and decoding
• Experience with testing and troubleshooting communication systems

Summary:
