“The Power Was With Us: Idle No More”
Journalist Rick Harp and satirist Tim Fontaine have released a two-part documentary, “The Power Was With Us: Idle No More”, on the Indigenous rights movement that began in 2012. The documentary includes comments on surveillance of the movement by the government from Jeffrey Monaghan, a Criminology and Criminal Justice Professor at Ӱԭ University.
Episode one is currently available on APTN’s streaming service Lumi. Part two will be available to stream on Jan 30.
