Biography
Wameed Alghazali is an NSERC Postdoctoral Fellow at Universit茅 de Sherbrooke, a Research Associate at 杏吧原创 University, and a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario. His research focuses on environmental and geoenvironmental engineering, with particular emphasis on process-based numerical modelling of coupled thermal, mechanical, biological, and hydraulic processes in variably saturated porous media. His work includes methane mitigation using engineered methane oxidation biosystems, landfill settlement and thermal evolution, and the development of predictive models and practitioner-oriented engineering tools. He has previous university teaching experience at both 杏吧原创 University and the University of Sharjah.
