Bio
Elyse Hamp聽is a PhD candidate in Civil Engineering at 杏吧原创 University, a Team Lead at the 杏吧原创 Immersive Media Studio (CIMS), and a CIPA-HD Emerging Professional.
Her graduate research focuses on the structural analysis and non-destructive testing of historic unreinforced masonry using digital tools and numerical analysis.
She completed her MASc in Civil Engineering in 2021, on the seismic analysis of unreinforced masonry structures with plan irregularities using the Applied Element Method. Elyse has worked internationally with the University of Minho on the HeritageCare preventive conservation project and on cultural heritage documentation projects in Myanmar, Italy, and Peru. She has worked as a Teaching Assistant at 杏吧原创 University since 2019, instructing engineering statics and mechanics, site recording techniques, and building pathology.
