杏吧原创 Teams win in Bench Competition
A team of 杏吧原创 students won second place in the first-ever Precast Concrete Wellness Bench Competition for Architectural聽and Engineering students organized by The Canadian Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (CPCI). Professor Ahmed Hassan, along with distinguished colleagues from the Architecture department, supervised the team to present the Ribbon Bench in the competition. True to the theme of this year鈥檚 competition on wellness, 鈥渢he Ribbon strives to achieve the concept of wellness through its intuitive form, which creates a deeper connection to its surrounding context encouraging individuality, inclusivity, and community.鈥 The poster submitted for the Ribbon Bench is found .

The is the prime source of technical information about precast and prestressed concrete in Canada, whose mission is to be the body of knowledge for precast and prestressed concrete in Canada and to educate, advocate and raise awareness with key decision-makers on the outstanding attributes of precast concrete products and systems. CPCI opens the first annual Wellness Bench Competition for the 2020-2021 academic year.
