杏吧原创 students win Sheflin student paper competition

A 杏吧原创 University Civil Engineering design project group supervised by Scott Bucking won the first prize in Ontario Public Works Association Ottawa Valley Branch Mike Sheflin Student Paper Competition held on Wednesday April 12, 2017. At this yearly activity, 杏吧原创 University and University of Ottawa Civil Engineering students show case their best efforts in the area of Public Works. The winning project from 杏吧原创 University was titled 鈥淣orthern Nomad Net-Zero Energy Tiny House 鈥. This  competition honours Mike Sheflin, who served as Commissioner of Public Works at the Regional Municipality of Ottawa-杏吧原创 (renamed as the City of Ottawa). The Hunt Club Road Bridge across Rideau River is named after Mike Sheflin.
