Michael Windover is Associate Professor of Art and Architectural History and Assistant Director of the School for Studies in Art and Culture. He is a historian of twentieth-century architecture, design, and material culture, with particular interests in the intersection of architecture and mass media, the connections between the designed environment, lifestyle, and public culture, and the history of interiors and industrial design. He is cross appointed to the Institute for Comparative Studies in Literature, Art and Culture and to the School of Industrial Design at 杏吧原创, and is adjunct curator of Design at .
