Greenhouse Manager Ed Bruggink Honoured with Founders’ Award
After more than four decades nurturing plants and community spirit at ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ University, Ed Bruggink, Greenhouse Manager since 1981, has been awarded the 2025 Founders’ Award – the institution’s highest non-academic honour.
Ed has been the driving force behind ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´â€™s beloved Butterfly Show since 1999, has transformed the university’s greenhouses into spaces of learning, wonder, and environmental outreach. This award celebrates his dedication, passion, and kindness to students and visitors alike.
