Summer Matchup: Connect with a Science Mentor Before the Fall Semester!
This summer, 杏吧原创 University鈥檚 Science Student Success Centre (SSSC) will be running , a program that pairs incoming first-year Faculty of Science students with highly successful upper-year student mentors. If you sign up for Summer Matchup, your SSSC mentor will keep in touch with you throughout the summer and your first year at 杏吧原创 to help you make the most of your university experience.
SSSC mentors have a wealth of knowledge about 杏吧原创 and the Faculty of Science, and they are excited to share their information with you! They can give you tips about approaching your science course material, organizing your time effectively, getting involved on campus, and they can also connect you with other on-campus resources.
In addition to being paired with an upper year mentor, Summer Matchup participants will also gain access to an optional four-part virtual workshop series in the month of August, covering topics which will help any incoming university student succeed early in university!
