Eight hundred and sixty-four caterpillars and counting. PhD candidate  made that many caterpillars out of a flour and food colouring dough. Why you might wonder? Well, it’s all part of his research on predator-prey interactions. And that research is about to be published in the August issue of Animal Behaviour.

Hossie who is supervised by  in the Biology Department at �Ӱ�ԭ��, says:  “It has been great working with Dr. Sherratt who is a leader in this field. Since I started in his lab, he has allowed me to have full control over my project, but provides critical feedback and guidance to ensure that our research has maximum impact.”

Hossie’s researched was featured on the BBC Nature website.
