Maram “Murm” Bakiro (She/Her, PhD candidate) holds an MSc from the United Arab Emirates University and joined the Barry Lab in the Fall of 2022.
She is the pump manager for the Barry Lab.
Her research is primarily focused on the Molecular Layer Deposition (MLD) of hybrid materials and she is also a member of the micro team at the , focusing on Area Selective Deposition (ASD) of carbenes on metal surfaces. This work is part of a collaborative effort with the and the .
