Why are potholes so bad in Saskatchewan, CBC Radio /artel/2024/pothole-problems-in-saskatchewan/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=pothole-problems-in-saskatchewan&utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=pothole-problems-in-saskatchewan Sun, 12 May 2024 15:29:39 +0000 /artel/?p=7963

Earth’s climate has changed. Therefore, in recent years, countries across the world experience so many days of very high temperatures and other abnormalities. High temperatures deteriorate asphalt road performance and we then see so much cracking and potholes on roads. We need to adapt pavement design and road material specifications based on new climate conditions. Canada is no exception.

Dr Kamal Hossain was on CBC Radio commenting on Saskatchewan road conditions…
