My name is Alyssa Bernier and I am currently pursuing a master鈥檚 degree in pavement engineering at 杏吧原创 University. While obtaining my Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the University of New Brunswick, I worked as a field technician for a geotechnical engineering firm. Here, I conducted field sampling and quality control testing on various construction materials, including asphalt. Through this work, I gained an acute interest in asphalt material properties and laboratory testing. My research pertains to the use of rejuvenators in asphalt mixes and their use in the Canadian industry.
