This month we hear about Adam, who is a Web Developer at Web Services!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What interests you about this career?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m curious by nature. From a very young age, I would take things apart around the house to learn how they worked. (They didn\u2019t always go back together again) Being a web developer lets me take apart the web to learn how it works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Where else have you worked?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have worked in sales, product, marketing, development, and even behind a bar. I\u2019m a bit of a jack of all trades.<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What are you passionate about?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am passionate about using technology to solve unique pervasive problems. The whole process from identifying a problem, iterating over solutions, and then shipping an amazing product is pure joy!<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What are the best things about your job?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I get to work in a supportive environment with passionate people who are all working towards a common goal.<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What music are you listening at the moment?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What I\u2019m listening to tends to change from day to day. One day I\u2019ll be listening to folky stuff and another I\u2019ll be listening to some hard psychedelic. This morning I\u2019m listening to DJ Jazzy Jeff &amp; the Fresh Prince. It\u2019s summertime!<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What are you reading at the moment?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am currently reading Hyperion by Dan Simmons. It\u2019s a sci-fi novel about a mysterious world. Aren\u2019t they all?<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What do you do outside of work\/school to amuse yourself?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am an avid rock climber and I like to repair old cameras and electronics. Yes, these are hobbies I picked up during the pandemic.<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What exciting plans do you have coming up in the next year?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My wife and I are currently renovating our basement.
