Hey, some of you may not even know what they are!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s totally okay. Let&#8217;s start with the basics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>People posts are a feature that allows you to create people profiles. You pull the profiles onto pages the same way you pull posts onto a page, by selecting<strong> Post Element &gt; List People<\/strong> and then selecting a<strong> People Category<\/strong> to display.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong> People posts are commonly used for content such as:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Contact Us pages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ Us pages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our Staff and Faculty pages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>People posts give you the option of displaying a:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Profile Picture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Job Title<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Phone Number<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Email<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Office Location<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Here is what the people posts look like on a page:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1398\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/webservices\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/people-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14808\" srcset=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/webservices\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/people-1.jpg 1398w, https:\/\/carleton.ca\/webservices\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/people-1-512x312.jpg 512w, https:\/\/carleton.ca\/webservices\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/people-1-1024x625.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/carleton.ca\/webservices\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/people-1-320x195.jpg 320w, https:\/\/carleton.ca\/webservices\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/people-1-768x469.jpg 768w, https:\/\/carleton.ca\/webservices\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/people-1-360x220.jpg 360w, https:\/\/carleton.ca\/webservices\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/people-1-200x122.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1398px) 100vw, 1398px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"advantages-of-people-posts\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Advantages of People Posts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many advantages when using people posts, but the most notable are listed below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Once a persons profile is made, you can pull it onto any page without having to re-enter all of the person&#8217;s information<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you need to update a person&#8217;s profile, it will automatically be updated wherever that person&#8217;s profile is displayed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>People posts lay out the profiles perfectly on a page so you don&#8217;t have to use a table.
