Some of you may have used stories before in the old theme, and some of you might have never heard of stories.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether you&#8217;re a stories-pro or new to the feature, keep reading to discover how their appearance can be revamped in the new theme!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"post-4-7-stories\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>Post 4\/7: Stories<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Stories are a great way to add content to your website while keeping things interesting. Posts are great to use for quick news updates. Stories have a longer shelf life and tend to be used more for visual storytelling.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hub for Good has some great stories using the new cuTheme. First, create a story and then add it to a story category. Then to pull stories onto a page, add a listing block!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"best-practices\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>Best Practices<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Follow these tips to ensure that your stories are accessible and engaging!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"story-structure\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>Story Structure<\/b><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To keep content organized and easier to read:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Use headings and subheadings (H2, H3, H4)<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Break up long paragraphs<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"story-content\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>Story Content<\/b><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When it comes to adding text and images to your story, keep in mind to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Use relevant and clear images to break up the text and make your story more interesting<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add captions to images to provide context and help users with screen readers access your content<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add quotes to personalize your content and to break up bodies of text<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Avoid the use of italics, as they are hard to read<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Never write in all capital letters, as this is not accessible<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"managing-stories\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>Managing Stories<\/b><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To engage your audience and increase traffic on your website, be sure to add new stories often to keep your content interesting!
