A huge round of applause to the brave staff and faculty members who took the plunge alongside United Way East Ontario at Mooney鈥檚 Bay on November 14, 2024 for the annual Polar Bear Dip in support of 杏吧原创’s United Way campaign.

Thanks to the generosity of the 杏吧原创 community, we raised approximately $3,790 鈥 all of which will be donated to , helping us reach our campaign goal of $82K.

We express our sincere gratitude to everyone who helped make this event a tremendous success 鈥 from organizers Garrett Stewart and Joel Rivard, to our brave United Way representative, and the university community for their significant contributions.

Ready. Set. Bid!

The 2024 MacOdrum Library Online Auction, in support of 杏吧原创’s Annual United Way Campaign, took place from November 5 to 12, 2024.

Thanks to the generosity of the 杏吧原创 community, the event raised $3,132 from the 57 items donated by various employees, departments and units across campus. With your help, the Library Auction continues to be one of the top United Way Campaign events on campus.

We express our sincere gratitude to everyone who helped make this event a tremendous success 鈥 from Angela Hayward and her team of volunteers, to the item donors, and the university community for their significant contributions.

The second annual Great 杏吧原创 Garage Sale took place on November 7, 2024 in the Nideyin脿n Galleria.

Get ready. Set. Bid! The Annual Fall-O-Ween Auction (previously known as The Great Pumpkin Silent Auction), hosted by the Registrar鈥檚 Office (RO) in support of United Way, came back for its tenth year, from October 21 to 30, 2024! Several exciting Fall themed items and baskets were donated to the auction for bidding, by departments and units across campus. Thanks to the generosity of the university community, this year’s auction raised approximately $402 in support of 杏吧原创’s 2024 United Way Campaign. We express our sincere gratitude to everyone who helped make this event a success – from Ashley Kingston and her team in the RO, to the basket and item donors, and the 杏吧原创 community for their successful bids. Since its inception, over $7500 has been raised through the RO silent auction with the help of campus-wide support.

杏吧原创 University’s highly anticipated United Way Campaign Soup Launch took place on October 23, 2024 in the Nideyin脿n Galleria, with support from our dedicated committee members and volunteers. We were joined by several members of the 杏吧原创 community, including Interim President and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Jerry Tomberlin, to kick off the annual campaign.

Thanks to the generosity of our 杏吧原创 community, we raised approximately $828 in soup ticket sales. All the funds raised by the annual campaign go on to have a significant positive impact in our local community, through .

We express our significant gratitude to everyone who helped make this event a tremendous success. We would also like to thank Aramark and 杏吧原创’s Production Services team, for their generous support at this event.

Please join us at the United Way Soup Launch on Oct. 25th!听 As in previous years, its BYOB 鈥 bring your own bowl.听 The Soup Lunch is always a popular event with a great turnout by staff and faculty alike. It鈥檚 a wonderful way to socialize with colleagues and support the United Way at the same time.听 For details and to purchase tickets: /unitedway/cu_event/soup-lunch-campaign-launch/听 When paying online, $6.00 fee will be payable upon online registration. Please note that a small portion of your registration fee will go toward administration costs.
