Elle prononcera son discours en anglais.<\/p>\n<p>Le discours de Dr.\u00a0Patterson, intitul\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0Imag(in)ing Childhood in Apartheid\u2019s Last Decades\u00a0\u00bb, puisera dans un \u00e9ventail de documents historiques, et particuli\u00e8rement de mat\u00e9riel visuel, pour examiner les incompatibles et contest\u00e9es conceptions de l\u2019enfance \u00e0 la fin de l\u2019apartheid en Afrique du Sud, de 1976 aux premi\u00e8res ann\u00e9es de la d\u00e9mocratie.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Patterson est professeure adjointe \u00e0 l\u2019Institut des \u00e9tudes interdisciplinaires de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 杏吧原创. Elle d\u00e9tient un doctorat en anthropologie et histoire ainsi qu\u2019un certificat en \u00e9tudes mus\u00e9ales de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 du Michigan (Ann Arbor). Elle a cor\u00e9dig\u00e9 plusieurs articles ainsi que deux ouvrages, soit\u00a0<em>Curating Difficult Knowledge: Violent Pasts in Public Places\u00a0<\/em>(Palgrave Macmillan, 2011) et\u00a0<em>Anthrohistory: Unsettling Knowledge and Questioning Discipline<\/em>\u00a0(University of Michigan Press, 2011).\u00a0Elle travaille actuellement sur un manuscrit examinant les conceptions de l\u2019enfance, multiples et contest\u00e9es, \u00e0 la fin de l\u2019apartheid en Afrique du Sud.
