Andrew Robbins (he\/they) is a doctoral candidate in Media Studies at the University of Oregon. He researches queer and trans* film festivals and is writing a social history of the San Francisco Transgender Film Festival (1997-present).<\/p>\n
Andrew comes from a cultural studies tradition, having completed his master\u2019s degree in the School of Culture and Communication at The University of Melbourne, Australia.\u00a0Andrew lived outside of the US between 2009-2015, working, volunteering, and studying in Denmark, Singapore, and Australia.
