We examine how political mobilization in support or opposition of trade liberalization, as well as the increasing importance of geo-political concerns in international economic relations, reshape patterns of trade governance:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>How do policy actors\u2014in government, business, labour, and civil society\u2014navigate the evolving trade policy environment? Which actors gain influence, which ones lose out?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Which policy issues\u2014labour rights, climate action, migration, defence and security, Indigenous rights, etc.\u2014become more important in trade-related debates, which ones are marginalized?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Which new alliances form in domestic and international trade politics? What impact do these new constellations have on equity and inclusiveness in trade policy-making?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>TRADEPOL is supported by an international partnership of universities, public sector institutions, business organizations, trade unions, and think tanks on both sides of the Atlantic. Our Network combines collaborative research with training, mobility, and policy dialogue activities.
