Elvire Fabry, of the Jacques Delors Institute, recently published an article laying out the method used during the Brexit negotiations to\u00a0<\/span>build a strong European cohesion<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>and ensure from the outset that the negotiations are backed with strong political support from the Member States.
\n<\/span>She then explains how this \u2018Barnier Method\u2019 could be used by the European Union as it tackles other challenges in its global trade relations, most notably to strengthen the Union\u2019s cohesion vis-\u00e0-vis\u00a0China<\/a>.
