Brightspace announcements will not distribute after course end dates.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Explore tutorials <\/strong>on <a href=\"https:\/\/mediaspace.carleton.ca\/media\/Grading+Assignments+in+Brightspace\/1_3hx7ymcf\">grading assignments, <\/a>dive deeper into the <a href=\"https:\/\/mediaspace.carleton.ca\/media\/Introduction+to+the+Gradebook\/1_orkkuyt2\/203892503\">Gradebook training workshop<\/a> or share the tutorial of <a href=\"https:\/\/mediaspace.carleton.ca\/media\/Accessing+Grades+and+Feedback+on+Brightspace+for+Students\/1_rh5sszzv\">accessing grades and feedback with your students.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Submit your final grades via E-Grades. <\/strong>If you require assistance, visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/i.carleton.ca\/registrar\/grades\/g-manual\/#sect3\">E-Grades support page<\/a> for an instructor manual and final grades FAQ.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Looking ahead to the winter term<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/brightspace\/instructors\/course-setup-guide\/\"><strong>Consult the course setup guide<\/strong><\/a> to ensure you include all the important course elements.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/itsjira.carleton.ca\/servicedesk\/customer\/portal\/15\/create\/373\"><strong>Merge your courses prior to adding content<\/strong><\/a> if you\u2019re teaching multiple sections of the same course.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/tls\/2021\/blog-reducing-emails-from-students-with-a-brightspace-course-overview-2-2\/\"><strong>Create a course overview tour<\/strong><\/a> to help your students navigate your Brightspace course.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/brightspace\/instructors\/making-courses-visible\/\"><strong>Activate your course to allow students access<\/strong><\/a> as courses are hidden by default when they are created.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/zoom.us\/download\"><strong>Update Zoom to the latest version<\/strong><\/a> to ensure you have access to the newest features, fixes and settings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have any questions or would like to meet with TLS staff for assistance with your course design and setup, please submit your request through the <a href=\"http:\/\/itsjira.carleton.ca\/servicedesk\/customer\/portal\/15\">TLS Support Portal<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As the term draws to a close, Teaching and Learning Services (TLS) has some tips and resources to help you wrap up your fall term courses in D2L Brightspace and launch your winter ones successfully.
