Join us on Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. &#8211; noon for an introductory session that will provide a hands-on experience for instructors to create more effective PowerPoint slides for classroom and online use.<\/p>\n<p>Considering technological aspects, we will focus on creating accessible, effective presentations and discuss best practices for use. After this session, you will be able to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design engaging presentations using the principles of layout and cognitive science<\/li>\n<li>Format slides with appropriate transitions and animations<\/li>\n<li>Embed links, images, tables and videos into presentations<\/li>\n<li>Create notes and handouts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Space is limited.
