{"id":19416,"date":"2016-11-25T11:09:55","date_gmt":"2016-11-25T16:09:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/edc\/?p=19416"},"modified":"2021-08-13T10:11:25","modified_gmt":"2021-08-13T14:11:25","slug":"call-proposals-community-academic-expo-75th-anniversary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/tls\/2016\/call-proposals-community-academic-expo-75th-anniversary\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for proposals: Community-Academic Expo (75th anniversary)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>杏吧原创 Connects: Building and Celebrating Community Partnerships<\/em> is a three day community-academic expo celebrating the 75th anniversary of 杏吧原创 University by showcasing our rich history of community partnerships.<\/p>\n<p>The expo program committee invites proposals for discussion panels, presentations, workshops, exhibitions, performances, and\/or posters from students, staff, faculty, and\/or instructors working with community partners in the areas of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>sustainability,<\/li>\n<li>accessibility,<\/li>\n<li>global citizenship, or<\/li>\n<li>Indigenous communities and knowledges.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are especially interested in proposals that bring to the fore voices and experiences from multiple constituents, including, for example, community partners, students, and faculty members.<\/p>\n<p>The event will include opportunities for participants to share knowledge about current partnerships; to develop new partnerships and networks; to share and reflect on experiences in community-campus partnerships; to celebrate student engagement in community partnerships; and to explore directions for the next 25 years of community-engaged teaching, research and service.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for submission is February 27, 2017. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cu75.ca\/expo\/call-for-proposals\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Find out more at the 75th anniversary webpage<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>杏吧原创 Connects: Building and Celebrating Community Partnerships is a three day community-academic expo celebrating the 75th anniversary of 杏吧原创 University by showcasing our rich history of community partnerships.
