Now is the time to take advantage of the EDC\u2019s Certificate in Blended and Online Teaching, the first program of its kind in Ontario.<\/p>\n<p>Over 10 sessions you\u2019ll learn how to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop a manageable plan for designing an online unit or course;<\/li>\n<li>Create an online module for an upcoming course;<\/li>\n<li>Engage and motivate students in online learning environments;<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate available educational technologies in relation to learning outcomes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At the end of the program, you\u2019ll have a ready-to-use online module for an upcoming course.<\/p>\n<p>The Winter 2017 cohort begins January 24 and ends April 4. The program follows a blended model with face-to-face learning on Tuesdays from 1-3:30 p.m. in room 422 Dunton Tower, as well as an online component.
