Professors Raggo, Knezevic, Merrett, Yssledyk and Van de Sande illustrate the dedication that 杏吧原创 professors are bringing to teaching and research partnerships.<\/p>\n<p>Partnerships are about ensuring that the work we do together meets one another\u2019s needs, that we share power, and that we learn together. Building effective partnerships in teaching and research is complex work, and these videos offer a glimpse of that. However, this is also work that is enormously gratifying, giving our students real-world experiences, while making our research meaningful and more impactful. When they are most effective, partnerships grow and continue to give back to all involved over many years.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"253\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0M_x7iynIUI?rel=0\" width=\"450\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"253\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/APcDPWirfVE\" width=\"450\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"253\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/APZlRJsBZ1w\" width=\"450\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"253\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/PTGPHuPPUU4\" width=\"450\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"253\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/n1myp_4k2V8\" width=\"450\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>These videos were all filmed at an event on June 22, 2015. On that day, about 50 people came out to 1125@杏吧原创, 杏吧原创\u2019s \u2018Living Lab\u2019, to learn more about community engagement in teaching and research from a panel of 杏吧原创 professors and some of their community partners. Most participants then stayed for a follow-up roundtable on how we at 杏吧原创 could strengthen our institutional connections to then strengthen our partnerships with outside organizations. We learned that we need to build stronger links internally, so when someone in the community is seeking assistance from someone at 杏吧原创, they can find a way through our labyrinth of tunnels to connect with the right people.<\/p>\n<p>On June 22, we set the wheels in motion to address this task as an institution.
