We are proud to recognize and celebrate that both CUELF competitions received many outstanding applications for innovative experiential learning initiatives. In total, $100,000 in funding was distributed to create and enhance 20 course and program level projects.

The following faculty members were聽awarded funding聽to develop or enhance course or program level initiatives with experiential learning components in February: Profs. Anne Bowker (Psychology), Deborah Conners (Sociology and Anthropology), Melissa Frankel (Philosophy), Julie Garlen (Interdisciplinary Studies), Cheryl Harasymchuk (Psychology), Dominique Marshall (History), Danay Novoa (Psychology), Matthew Sorley (Psychology), Julia Wallace (Physics).

The Provost established the fund to:

  • Increase the number of experiential learning opportunities for 杏吧原创 students
  • Enhance existing experiential learning opportunities
  • Build awareness of experiential learning at 杏吧原创
  • Support the articulation of employability skills for 杏吧原创鈥檚 students within the institution鈥檚 academic programming

The fund supports two types of projects: course projects (financial support in the range of $1,000 鈥 $2,500 per project is available) and program level projects (financial support in the range of $2500 鈥 $10,000 per project is available).
