If so, come to ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´â€™s Fourth Annual Community Engagement Event on February 24 to meet and collaborate with community organizations tackling an array of real-world issues in Ottawa and beyond. This event will connect you with representatives from community organizations who are seeking to partner with ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ students and faculty.

The event will feature:

  • A keynote presentation by Marc-André Clement (Culture Shock Canada) and some of ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´â€™s top students, who will share key insights on how to make partnership-based projects effective for all involved
  • A series of networking sessions hosted by community organizations and ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ faculty on over two dozen topics
  • A special session on a community-led proposal for an Ottawa networking platform

The event runs from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. in the Discovery Centre. Get a full list of ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ and community presenters and . Registration will be open until February 24, but space in specific networking sessions may be limited.

This event is sponsored by ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´â€™s Committee on Community Engaged Pedagogy, Teaching and Learning Services, the Office of the Provost, the Faculty of Public Affairs, the Discovery Centre, 1125@ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´, and the Community First: Impacts of Community Engagement (CFICE) research project.
