I really cherish it, and appreciate the honor. I have found over the years in teaching, that it is important to make the class as enjoyable and meaningful to all students. This has been my focus, in teaching Anishnaabemowin. We are all part of creation, and we all have a voice. I am thankful to have had the opportunity to teach the language of my ancestors at ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´, and enjoyed teaching every class I have taught since 2011. When I saw the students actually gaining an understanding of this rather complicated language, has been my reward. The skits the students performed at the end of the class were always so well done, and the students demonstrated so much effort in performing them in front of their fellow classmates. I will proudly wear the pin! Chi miigwech!
