While I am an avid user of technology in the classroom, I myself am fundamentally a chalkboard teacher, often asking my own students to join me at the board. I am always thankful when I walk into a classroom and see that my chalkboard has not been covered up by the projector screen.

In a similar vein, I am preparing a post/article on whiteboards. Something along the line: The most powerful technology in an Active Learning classroom is the lowly whiteboard! Perhaps in the next EDC newsletter? Or at least as a Discovery Centre article.
