The presentation will examine how factors such as climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution, and resource depletion have shifted natural capital from a historical productivity booster to a modern-day productivity drag. Speaker: Christina Caron Christina Caron is an economist and executive whose career has included roles in the federal public service, the offices of two Canadian Prime Ministers, the Economic Council of Canada, and the British Embassy in Washington, D.C. Her current work focuses on the role of natural capital in economic growth and the economic impacts of environmental damage.
