The Green Home Office Certification program challenges those in the 杏吧原创 community who are working and/or studying at home to foster a robust, environmentally friendly, and fulfilling workplace in their homes through individual actions.
The program targets areas such as:
- Energy Conservation
- Sustainable Food & Dining
- Proper Waste Management
- Efficient Water Consumption
- Green Transportation & Mobility
- Sustainable Purchasing
How It Works
Individuals can be certified as one of four levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Green. Once the form has been submitted, it will be reviewed by our sustainability department and you will be notified of your level of certification along with a digital certificate and badge to proudly show off your sustainability efforts. To achieve Bronze certification, over 50% of actions need to be completed, for Silver certification over 60% of actions, for Gold certification over 80% of actions, and for Green certification, over 90% of actions need to be completed.

How long is the certification valid?
The certification is valid for 1 year. The year will be indicated on the email badge you receive upon certification.
Where do these actions come from?
The Green Home Office Certification Program is an adaption of 杏吧原创 University’s Green Workplace program that was developed and inspired by many other universities which have 鈥済reen home office鈥� certifications.
Our Green Home Office Certification is aligned with 杏吧原创 University’s long-term sustainability goals outlined in our sustainability plan. 杏吧原创 University participates in (Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System) from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) to evaluate the institution鈥檚 progress. The Green Workplace and Green Home Office certifications stemmed from our goal to develop initiatives to increase staff and community involvement in sustainability.
