SDG Week Canada is a national collaboration from March 4-8, 2024 featuring workshops, panels, and other interactive programming to increase awareness of and engagement with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on university and college campuses.

Teaching and Researching the SDGs
This virtual panel discussion will explore innovation in the context of teaching and researching the SDGs. You will hear from a distinguished panel with a strong background in teaching and researching sustainability, including: course development, experiential learning, examples of work related to the UN SDGs on campus, and innovative work incorporating SDGs in teaching and research.
ASB: Experiential Learning of the SDGs
This virtual session will introduce participants to the 杏吧原创 ASB program, with students in February 2024 having travelled across Guatemala to learn about the impact the coffee industry has on climate change and the supply chain. Students will share their experiences and reflect on programs and initiatives to address the SDGs at the community level.

Sustainability is now more important than ever, as it encompasses economic, environmental, and social dimensions. In 2015, the United Nations published ‘Transforming our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development,’ which is a plan of action for people, planet, and prosperity. The publication outlines 17 Sustainable Development Goals and 169 targets, and aims to build on previous efforts by presenting a 15-year agenda that balances the economic, social, and environmental dimensions of sustainable development.
