Having joined 杏吧原创 in 2002, he has held\u00a0numerous\u00a0academic leadership positions and in\u00a0July 2026, he began a five-year term as Deputy Provost.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His contributions to the academic community extend beyond 杏吧原创 through service on editorial boards, scholarly\u00a0organizations\u00a0and national research bodies.\u00a0Neufang\u00a0has served on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Mathematical Society, chaired several national committees, including the NSERC Pure Mathematics Evaluation Group and was Deputy Director of the Fields Institute for Research in Mathematical Sciences.
