His teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that students want to learn and that instructors play\u00a0an important role\u00a0in removing the barriers that make learning difficult.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hassan\u2019s\u00a0approach focuses on four key areas: fostering curiosity through clear learning\u00a0objectives\u00a0and assessments, humanizing the student-teacher relationship, continuously improving teaching practices through feedback\u00a0and using technology to address logistical challenges. Hassan has led\u00a0a number of\u00a0technology-based teaching innovations, including the implementation of M\u00f6bius for online assessment during the COVID-19 pandemic and the use of Assign2 for the digital assessment of in-person paper-based exams.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beyond the classroom, he is deeply engaged in student experience initiatives.
