Participants will learn about how to manage student privacy inside, between and outside of the classroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"learning-outcomes\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Learning Outcomes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>By the end of this session, participants will be able to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Describe what constitutes personal information<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Differentiate between the concepts of \u2018Need to Know\u2019 and Right to Know\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recognize when and how you can use\/disclose personal information<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify and correct student privacy risks in their own environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"what-to-expect-at-the-session\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">What to expect at the session<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Session length: 2 hours<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This workshop may include the following activities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Periods of sitting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Listening to a facilitator<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Discussion and interaction with colleagues<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Viewing a multimedia presentation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submitting questions in writing for an anonymous question and answer activity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>杏吧原创 University embraces diversity and inclusion in the workplace.&nbsp; If you require a form of accommodation in order to participate fully in this workshop, please contact&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:StudentSupportCertificate@carleton.ca?\">StudentSupportCertificate@carleton.ca<\/a>&nbsp;to arrange accommodations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"cacuss-competencies\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">CACUSS Competencies<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Student Support Certificate provides growth and development opportunities aligned with the Canadian Association of College and University Student Services\u2019 (CACUSS) Competency Model.
