{"id":33,"date":"2021-11-03T10:41:12","date_gmt":"2021-11-03T14:41:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/sp4ce\/?p=33"},"modified":"2021-12-02T10:47:10","modified_gmt":"2021-12-02T15:47:10","slug":"join-the-strategic-plan-for-community-engagement-sp4ce-task-force","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/sp4ce\/2021\/join-the-strategic-plan-for-community-engagement-sp4ce-task-force\/","title":{"rendered":"Join the Strategic Plan for Community Engagement (SP4CE) Task Force"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>November 3, 2021<\/p>\n<p>To All Members of the 杏吧原创 Community,<\/p>\n<p>Following the launch of 杏吧原创&#8217;s new <a href=\"http:\/\/lists.carleton.ca\/t\/467318\/2582368\/14383\/2\/\">Centre for Community Engagement<\/a> last week, we are excited to announce the process for 杏吧原创&#8217;s first Strategic Plan for Community Engagement (SP4CE).<\/p>\n<p>Community engagement is a central part of 杏吧原创&#8217;s founding story and continues to be integral to many activities and initiatives across the university. As outlined in the <a href=\"http:\/\/lists.carleton.ca\/t\/467318\/2582368\/6945\/3\/\">Strategic Integrated Plan (SIP)<\/a>, 杏吧原创 aims to serve Ottawa and the world by remaining true to our community-empowered roots and sense of purpose. This inaugural plan will align with this direction and will focus on the ways in which this high-level vision can be implemented across the institution.<\/p>\n<p>The planning process will be transparent and collaborative. An important component of this process is the engagement of the SP4CE Task Force. If you are interested in joining this important endeavour by serving on the task force, please submit a short one-paragraph statement outlining your interest to <a href=\"&#x6d;&#97;i&#x6c;&#116;o&#x3a;&#99;o&#x6d;&#109;u&#x6e;&#105;t&#x79;&#101;n&#x67;&#97;g&#x65;&#109;e&#x6e;&#116;&#64;&#x63;&#97;r&#x6c;&#101;t&#x6f;&#110;&#46;&#x63;&#97;\">&#99;&#x6f;&#109;&#x6d;u&#110;&#x69;&#116;&#x79;e&#x6e;g&#97;&#x67;&#101;&#x6d;e&#x6e;&#x74;&#64;&#x63;a&#x72;l&#101;&#x74;&#111;&#x6e;&#46;&#x63;a<\/a> by <strong>Monday, Nov. 8. <\/strong>Please be advised that membership comes with a significant time commitment. The task force will meet regularly and the first meeting is scheduled for Nov. 15 at 3:30 p.m. Note that staff members should discuss with supervisors to ensure they are aware of, and agree to, the required time commitment.<\/p>\n<p>Members of the Task Force will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in consultations that will inform the plan,<\/li>\n<li>Make recommendations about the strategic planning process,<\/li>\n<li>Provide feedback on consultations to help guide the process,<\/li>\n<li>Provide input into the development of the strategic plan, and<\/li>\n<li>Provide feedback on the draft strategic plan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>More information is available on the <a href=\"http:\/\/lists.carleton.ca\/t\/467318\/2582368\/14383\/4\/\">Centre for Community Engagement website<\/a>.
