Our Honours Thesis students worked diligently all year on exciting projects. Congratulations to all the thesis students for taking on this challenge and producing fascinating and important work!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here\u2019s a quick overview of the projects that were displayed in the lounge:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"Angela Ingrao explored the social effects of how audiences relate to the work of high-profile artists accused of sexual wrongdoing.<\/td>\"\"Madison Cameron explored work as leisure, digital nomads, and the transformation of work.<\/td><\/tr>
\"\"Jazmin Israel examined media representations of social movements.<\/td>\"\"Maria Abdi examined racialized identities in law enforcement.<\/td><\/tr>
\"\"Kennedy Aliu explored hip hop, resilience, and Somali youth.<\/td>\"\"Mackenzie Cielen-Gough explored LGBTQ2+ voices in Ontario’s 1998 sex-ed curriculum, and the construction of queer identity.<\/td><\/tr>
\"\"Tiffany Isesele (left) examined social housing and access to quality nutritional food in Ottawa. Mackenzie Plumb (right) explored discourses from government and activists concerning Ottawa’s new prison.<\/td>\"\"Stephen Campbell explored historical economic forces that shape cities, and how urban sprawl entrenchment can be explained by cities of the past.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
