Wally Clement’s career celebrated

The Department hosted a party June 25th to celebrate Wally Clement’s career. Wally is retiring July 1st as a Chancellor’s Professor after a very distinguished career at ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ since 1980, including stints as Dean of FASS and of Graduate Studies. Wally is very well known and loved on campus, and is a key figure in the development of Canadian sociology and political economy. The Department is collecting donations for a Graduate Scholarship to recognize Wally’s tremendous 38 years at ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´. The university will match funds. The award will be split between grad students in our department and Political Economy. Donations can be made at:
