Her research focuses on health and risk communication, science communication, lived experiences of risk, and mediated discourses of health and illness. She has published studies on risk communication of COVID-19, media coverage of outbreaks of vaccine preventable diseases and antivaccination, journalistic practices and news coverage of antimicrobial resistance, as well as hospital workers\u2019 risk perceptions and risk prevention behaviours.
