The university is not obligated to reimburse an employee for travel (or other costs) that have not be previously approved.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/secretariat\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/158\/Food-Services-Policy.pdf\">Food Services Policy<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This policy ensures the appropriate provision of food services at the University, guarantees that any continuing arrangement for the provision of food services at the University is authorized by the appropriate authority, and complies with all related requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Updates include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Applicability<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>All members of the 杏吧原创 University community, including the University\u2019s employees, volunteers, students, and visitors.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Procedure<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Events including functions for University employees that include on-site catering services up to $1000 (excluding taxes) must be acquired through an approved caterer participating in the Catering Vendor of Record program. Catering that exceeds $1000 (excluding taxes) must be catered by the Primary Food Services Contractor.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Exemptions may be granted on a per-event basis if the organization or person making the request obtains and maintains during the time the exemption is granted liability insurance in the amount of $5,000,000 for the service and provision of food for the time of exemption, with the University as one of the named additional insureds. A certificate of insurance must be provided to the Office of Risk Management.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Food service providers to indemnify the University from any liability flowing from the service and provision of food and that provider is responsible for complying with all applicable health and safety, licensing and permit requirements.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As an additional note, both the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/secretariat\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/158\/COVID-19-Mandatory-Vaccination-Policy.pdf\">COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccine Policy<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/secretariat\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/158\/Mask-policy-April-2021.pdf\">COVID-19 Mask Policy<\/a> have been suspended until further notice, with the following clarification:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Vaccination<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Although vaccinations are recommended as a way to reduce risks, reporting proof of vaccination is not required. cuScreen will no longer be available to upload vaccination documentation.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Masks<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Masks are not required on campus. However, in line with other healthcare facilities, Health Services and the Sports Medicine Clinic may continue to require masks.
