Further, this Policy confirms the university\u2019s commitment to ensure a respectful learning and working environment that is free of harassment, including sexual harassment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Updates to the policy include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Administrative clean-up and wording changes under the scope<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Reference to social and electronic media<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Name of training update to \u201crespect and safety\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/secretariat\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/158\/Workplace-Violence-Prevention-Policy-1.pdf\">Workplace Violence Policy<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This Policy fulfills the legal obligations under the Occupational Health and Safety Act for a Workplace Violence Prevention Policy which is renewed annually. Further, this Policy confirms the university\u2019s commitment to ensure a respectful learning and working environment that is free of violence, including sexual violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Updates reflect minor wording changes and references to social and electronic media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/secretariat\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/158\/Environmental-Health-and-Safety-Policy-2022.pdf\">Environmental Health and Safety Policy and Guidelines<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This Policy fulfills the University\u2019s legal obligations under the Occupational Health and Safety Act to have a Health and Safety Policy which is renewed annually.
