Office 365 (O365) as its official mail server. It is sometimes called cunet, Exchange or Outlook for Faculty and Staff, and cmail for students. As of Jan. 2019, you have a 50GB email quota.<br \/>\n<em><strong>@carleton.ca<\/strong>, <strong>@cunet.carleton.ca<\/strong> and <strong>@cmail.carleton.ca<\/strong> email addresses and aliases are managed by ITS. Request that specific software be installed on the Windows Lab Image. The software must be windows compatible. <em>If the software is NOT free, you must provided the required licenses or submit a funding request for the School to purchase the licenses<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>VirtualBox Virtual Machine<\/strong> &#8211; If your course provides a <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/scs\/tech-support\/virtual-machines\/\"> Virtual Machine<\/a> image to students, you can request that it be added to the lab computers for students to use there.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tutorials, Demos and Presentations<\/strong> &#8211; You may book the labs for course lab tutorials, demonstrations and presentations. You may also book the labs for other requirements such as research presentations, student group activities (eg: coding competitions), etc.<\/li>\n<li><strong>File Distribution<\/strong> &#8211; If you have a large file or software package that your students need for their course, you can have it added to a shared folder on the Windows Lab Image. This can be used by students to download the files onto a USB key, which may be more convenient if they have a slow home network connection.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p><\/dd><dl><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"scs-account-info\">SCS Account Information<\/h2>\n<p>Your SCS accounts is used for many different SCS provided services.
