On June 6, 2018, a high profile French Delegation visited the Department. The purpose of the visit was to be familiarized with some of the research activities that take place at ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The delegation included Jacques Samarut, co-president of the France-Canada Research Fund for Research<\/a>, Khaled Bouabdallah, president of the University of Lyon<\/a>, Jean-Marie Panazol, director general of the Educational Network Canop\u00e9<\/a>, Marianne Beseme, secretary general of the Franco-Qu\u00e9bec Office for Youth<\/a>, Gilles Wainrib, president of Owkin France<\/a> \u2013 a company specializing in medical artificial intelligence, as well as French MPs Annie Chapelier<\/a>, Jean-Luc Lagleize<\/a>, S\u00e9bastien Nadot<\/a> and C\u00e9dric Villani<\/a>, winner of the 2010 Fields Medal for mathematics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
