Danial Dashti Daryan completed his MASc degree in 2026 as a member of our research group. His research focused on evaluating the shear behavior of reinforced concrete columns subjected to high axial loads and on the development of new lumped plasticity models. His thesis has been nominated for the Best Thesis Award.
He is currently working as a research assistant, developing a mechanics鈥揂I-based shear hinge model to capture the behavior of shear-critical concrete elements under reversed cyclic loading.
