His research interests include northern Indigenous food sovereignty and aligning federal government policies with place-based Indigenous self-determination efforts. With an undergraduate background in Mathematics (University of Waterloo) and Business Administration (Wilfrid Laurier University), Narayan brings a multi-disciplinary approach towards supporting community projects at several scales.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He is a racialized settler-immigrant who grew up in the Middle East and migrated to Canada moving between Tkaronto, Haldimand Treaty territory (Kitchener-Waterloo), and unceded Algonquin territory (Ottawa).
