At RavenSoft Research Lab, our research is guided by a central question:<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"not-prose cu-quote cu-component-spacing\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>How can we design, test, and maintain dependable software systems when AI is both a powerful capability and a potential source of risk?<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We investigate this question through two main research directions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n\n<li>\n<strong>Automated and Intelligent Software Testing<\/strong><br>\nWe develop techniques and tools to automatically test, analyze, and validate complex software systems. Our goal is to identify failures efficiently and improve software reliability across a wide range of operating conditions.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n<strong>Validation and Responsible Integration of AI and ML<\/strong><br>\nWe develop methods for evaluating machine learning components within the software systems in which they operate. Our research focuses on system-level reliability, robustness, predictability, privacy, and responsible AI integration.\n<\/li>\n\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"working-with-industry\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Working with Industry<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Collaboration with <strong>industry partners<\/strong> is an important part of our research. We work closely with organizations on real-world software engineering challenges and translate research ideas into practical methods, tools, and solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We welcome opportunities to collaborate with companies and organizations interested in software testing, software quality, AI-enabled systems, and responsible
