She is cross appointed between the Childhood and Youth Studies program and the Department of Psychology at ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ University where she teaches course relevant to the psychology of climate change, education for sustainable development, nature connection, and human development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her participatory research collaborations with educational institutions and community-based organizations in Canada and abroad focus on addressing the impacts of climate change on the wellbeing of young people and the use of immersive technologies (e.g., video games) to promote positive development, emotional wellbeing, climate awareness and environmental behaviors and action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Maggi is the founder of <a href=\"https:\/\/can01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmochi4theplanet.com%2F&amp;data=05%7C01%7CMaddiBruining%40cunet.carleton.ca%7Cb9ef7ec13c5f449b441b08dba3dba40c%7C6ad91895de06485ebc51fce126cc8530%7C0%7C0%7C638283935957950708%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=pAcIMmywc0K3DaGYeRmyXqGx6iQHN3zxjuy%2Bmtj3fXc%3D&amp;reserved=0\">Mochi4ThePlanet<\/a>, a youth-led movement promoting coping with climate change and emotional resilience.
