Dr. Maria A. Rogers is ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´\u2019s Tier II Canada Research Chair in Child and Youth Well-being. As an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology, Dr. Rogers\u2019 research endeavours to understand how relationships impact the educational and emotional development of children and youth. A core area of her research examines the relational health of children with neurodevelopmental disorders, such as Attention-Deficit\/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and its associations with children\u2019s learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As co-founder of the Canadian School Attendance Partnership (CSAP)<\/a><\/em>, Dr. Rogers\u2019 lab is also investigating chronic absenteeism in children and teens, and its associations with child and parent mental health, children\u2019s learning, and children\u2019s relational health at school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Rogers is a Child and Adolescent Clinical Psychologist who is registered to practice in Ontario and Qu\u00e9bec.
